In 8 months the costs to the authors were:

(Figures include VAT but not an invoice of a further £2,203.13 which we refused to pay).

Unfortunately we haven't been able to use any of the material he produced, for example:

We couldn't use a brochure he spent several weeks producing (because it infringed the copyrights of a large customer).
He told us we couldn't use three other brochures because he didn't approve of changes we had made to our website after we had finished with his services. (Three times we asked him in writing to clarify and three times he didn't answer the question put but asked other questions instead).
